What's the difference between "music cd-r" and just "cd-r"?
I previously had cd-r disks to record music from my itunes. I just purchased music cd-r disks and nothing is recording onto the disks. They keep registering "blank cd" Why can't I record music with these?

- im not sure wat the diffrence is considering i've never seen a music cd-r but try reformatting the cd, and then try to copy music files and etc
- It will only see it as blank if you didn't finalize it.Music cd-r is the same as cd-r.It's just a good way of trying to sell something.Hope this helps
- A Cd-r disc is a Cd-r disc whether is says music or not. You can record music or data on them. There's only a difference between a CD-R and a CD-RW. A CD-RW is a rewritable cd that will not play in everything like a regular CD-R will and can be erased & rewritten to. You are trying to record from itunes in which I think you have to format their music files to mp3 before you can burn them to cd or something like that. I'm not sure though as I don't use Itunes.
- Music CDRs are pre-formatted to receive normal audio data (i.e the kind you get on a normal CD). Whether you can store other kinds of data on it depends on what kind of burner you're using.
