What is the difference between a mp3 cd and a music cd?
I want to burn a cd with music on it that will work in cd players and the computer and I'm using Roxio . Thanks Mikey, I'm going to try it out.

- Like 200 songs... No, okay... It's a different format. MP3 files have been compressed into a cool, well, mp3 format. Standard CD's are uncompressed full audio. A 'normal' couple minute song is about 50mb uncompressed, while in mp3 format it's about 2-2 1/2 mb. Keep in mind that while you can put on 20 times the songs on an mp3 format CD, not all CD players will be able to play them. Most newer ones will, but not all. If you're only intent is to play them on a PC, no worries.
- MP3 was downloaded
- you have to have a cd player that plays mp3's, and then you would convert your cd audio files to mp3, and then burn them on a cd. it compresses the file to about ten percent of the original size, so you can fit many more songs on them. Typically, I get about 100 songs on one cd
- A CD with mp3 songs on it can be played in most new cd players, and all computers. A music CD can be played everywhere. Also, an mp3 CD can hold several times the amount of music on it. But if you have an older CD player, it may not be able to play it.
