1. So the companies say. Ask the people that have been thru courts and paid up.
2. How do you benefit from it? As you make money off of it? If you are selling ripped music you should really be careful.
3. I always thought it was illegal only if you ripped it and SOLD it. Isn't burning it to a cd for your friend the same thing? and thats not illegal.

5. Yes it is.... I got many benefit from this before.... I can got my favorite song without buy the CD.. But, think if you got your song from the internet without buying the CD, from where does musician and major label got it's benefit??? Download music at the internet is a piracy...
