The most efficient way to burn a music CD?
I have about 700 songs on my computer which I want to burn onto CDs because I'm moving out. What would be the most efficient way to do it? How could I burn the maximum number of songs onto a CD? Thats what I always do, only fits about 10-12 songs in a CD. Is there some sort of program that will help me compress the songs, thereby reducing their size? Someone, anyone? 10 points for best answer!

- go on itunes. create a playlist and then put in a blank CD. ON the bottom right of the playlist window press burn CD thats it
- If you're using iTunes, and your music is in mp3 format, click Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Burning, and check "MP3 disc" and click OK. Then the Burn Disc button becomes a Burn MP3 Disc button, and you can fit a lot on there. You might also try using the "Back Up To Disc" feature in the File menu. Another thing would be to open your music folder (not in itunes), and copy the files/folders to the cd. If you're using Windows, you can go into My Music, where the iTunes folder is, and see if that whole folder would fit on a cd, and then just use Windows to burn the CD. In Windows, you can right-click a folder (or, if you select multiple folders, right-click anywhere inside the selection) and click Properties, to see what the size is. You just need to keep the size under 700 mb. If your music is all over the place on the computer, it won't all be in one place, and using this method will be harder to get it all copied (unless you first use iTunes to "consolidate" the library (in the Advance menu).
